Members of the Gauteng Provincial Head Ofiice Warroom Drug Team, followed up on information at a Hotel in Eastgate last night and arrested a 46-year-old suspect for manufacturing and dealing in drugs.
Upon arrival at the identified premises, members kept surveillance of the hotel’s parking area.
Around 22:00, a BMW arrived and members searched the vehicle and found two big bags of dog food.
Upon searching inside the bags, members found seven bags of Mandrax containing 1 000 tablets in each bag. The 46-year-old suspect then took the police to his home in Walkerville where several substances and equipment were found for manufacturing drugs.
