Three suspects arrested with the possession mandrax tablets valued at R 50 000

The vigilance and swift action by members attached to the Western Cape Flying Squad landed three suspects behind bars earlier today, for being in possession of a lot of mandrax tablets.

The members were doing patrols in Hindle Road, Delft when they spotted the occupants of a vehicle behaving suspiciously.

This prompted the members to investigate their observation, and during a search of the vehicle, a bag containing 1010 mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R 50 000 was discovered.

The three suspects aged 25, 29 and 33 are due to make a court appearance in Blue Downs for dealing in drugs, once they have been charged.
