Swift response by the police in the Worcester area led to the arrest of two men aged 20 and 22 in connection with a murder that occurred on 20 January at about 23:45 in River View.
The deceased was found with a gunshot wound to his body. Police followed up on leads and arrested the first suspect shortly after the incident was reported.
The other suspect was arrested yesterday, 22 January 2018. Both suspects will appear in the Worcester Magistrates’ court this morning, 23 January 2018.
The Provincial Commissioner of the Western Cape, Lieutenant General KE Jula, praised members for responding swiftly and investigating a serious crime with dedication.
