On Thursday, 17 August 2017, at approximately 13:15, the Ethekwini Inner South Crime Combating Unit apprehended a 19 year-old suspect, who was found in possession of heroin capsules to the value of R500. The Crime Combatting Team were performing crime prevention duties in Summerfield Road, Bayview when the team apprehended the suspect. The suspect was found in possession of 50 heroin capsules. The suspect was charged for being in possession of heroin and will appear in Court today, 21 August 2017.
