Drug Dealing Suspect Arrested in Phoenix, KZN

A 28 year drug dealer was arrested by members Reaction Unit South Africa in an intelligence driven operation in Phoenix – KZN.

Reaction Officers received a tip off from an informer stating that the suspect, who was dressed in blue overalls, was selling Heroine to drug users in the area. Officers proceeded to the location provided and kept observation over the suspect before approaching him.

Upon searching the Mount Royal – Avoca resident a packet containing 50 heroine capsules and R530 in cash was recovered in his pocket. While being interviewed the suspect admitted to being a drug dealer and a heroine addict. He claimed that he had purchased the heroine from Warwick Avenue in Durban.

The suspect was placed under arrest and handed over to authorities for further investigation.
