WESTERN CAPE: The Winelands Cluster Stabilisation Unit achieved success after they received valuable information from the community and obtained a search warrant. The information led them to a house in Flamingo Street, Paarl East where they arrested a 38-year-old man for the possession of drugs on Thursday, 20 April 2017 at about 13:30.
Members searched the house and found several small quantities of Dagga and Mandrax tablets with an estimated street value of R10 000.
The suspect is due to appear in the Paarl Magistrates’ Court, once he has been charged.
Communities who work in partnership with the police are instrumental in fighting crime generators such as the possession of drugs.
