On Tuesday, 6 December 2016 at about 15:30, Grassy Park SAPS sector team were task to search for a missing person. Information was received that this person could be found at an address at Parkers Walk, Parkwood. Upon arrival and entry of the address, members found a male, aged 46, packing Unga into smaller plastic bags.
Members search the premises and discovered 761 packets Unga, one unit crystal meth (tik), six whole Mandrax tablets, seven half and two crushed Mandrax tablets. The drugs are estimated to be worth R15 000-00. The suspect was arrested and once charged with dealing in drugs and the possession of drugs he will make a court appearance in Wynberg.
