Members of the Flying Squad in Kimberly led by Captain Monwabisi Qunta made a major breakthrough by confiscating drugs with an estimated street value of R2 Million Rand.
The success was made possible by Kimberley Crime Intelligence led information. The information led the Flying Squad to a yard on Veld Street in Kimberley on Saturday evening. The yard was thoroughly searched by alert Flying Squad members and eight containers were found hidden in the drainage.
No arrest has been effected as yet and police investigations are continuing. The Provincial Commissioner of the Northern Cape Lt General Risimati Shivuri has applauded the good work by members. #DrugsOffTheStreets
