Several drug arrests made by Police across South Africa

Grassy Park police arrested two suspects for possession of drugs yesterday, 31 May 2016.

According to information, members were busy with crime prevention operations in the area when they received information of dealing in drugs at Moosa walk, Parkwood. Upon arrival at premises police found in one of the room, three grocery bags containing dagga worth an estimated street value of R1 000-00 was confiscated.

In another incident, police were in Ottery flats busy with house searches when they notice a suspicious man who, upon seeing the police, ran. Police pursued the suspect who ran to his residence. A plastic bag containing 220 units of tik worth an estimated street value of R22 000-00 was found.

Two suspects, aged 17 and 18 years old, were arrested and will appear in Wynberg magistrates’ court today on charges of possession of drugs.
