On Tuesday, 2016-05-17 at 11:30, SAPS members attached to Cape Town International Airport conducted stop and search duties at international departures, when a 44-year-old female South African passenger was found with three compressed packets wrapped in brown plastic tape attached to her underneath her clothing.
The contents is suspected to be tik.
The estimated weight of the drugs is 1 kg with a street value of approximately R225 000-00.
The suspect was arrested and will appear in court once she has been charged.
