Four arrested for drug trafficking by Lansdowne SAPS Crime Prevention Unit

On Tuesday, 5 April 2016 at about 17:20, four males were arrested for possession of drugs when Lansdowne SAPS Crime Prevention Unit executed a search warrant at a premises in Sunnyside Road, Crawford. Drugs were found hidden outside on the roof in a plastic bag with estimated street value of R10 820-00.

In the plastic bag the following drugs were found:
• 93 sachets of Dagga
• 28 plastic bank with pollen
• 26 E Tablets
• 46 sachets of Mushroom

All suspects will face charges of possession of drugs and will appear at the Wynberg Magistrates Court soon.

Lansdowne Station Commander, Colonel Herman Seals, commended his members and the community and he is appealing to all residents to be the eyes and ears of the police, and to participate in policing activities.
