Drugs destined for Western and Southern Cape confiscated and arrest made

Efforts to police our main entrance and exit routes to and from the Western Cape, in conjunction neighboring provinces, are still yielding excellent successes. A 62-year-old Johannesburg man was arrested on Saturday, 9 April 2016, after being found in possession of 19 000 Mandrax tablets with an estimated value of R1 million that was destined for distribution in the Western-and-Southern Cape.
Police provincial management from the Western-and-Eastern Cape commended those members involved for their dedication and commitment to eradicate drug trafficking and the abuse thereof.
