Northern Cape – Two suspects appeared in the Prieska Magistrates’ Court, yesterday, 22 March 2016. This came after the two suspects were arrested on Thursday, 17 March 2016 at approximately 14:00, in Prieska. The Prieska Cluster office with the assistance of police in Marydale, Niekerkshoop and Hopetown followed up on information regarding drug sales at a house in Prieska.
Police searched the premises and found 173 Mandrax tablets, 43 Crystal Meth straws and one bag containing Tik.
The estimated street value of the drugs is R50 000. The male (35) and female (46) were charged with dealing in drugs.
