Seven tracing operations were conducted in Mitchell’s Plain Cluster that led to the arrest of 564 suspects on various crimes. During the past week 84 houses were searched for drugs, whereby 192 suspects were arrested. Drugs confiscated are 380 heroine units, 653 packets tik, 1376 mandrax tablets and 1931g dagga.
The Mitchells Plain Cluster police management want to thank all community structures of Mitchells Plain who joined the South African Police Service in combating crime, further we urge the community to remain vigilant and to contact their respective Sector Commanders and for those who have not yet joined our structures to join us by becoming part of their street committees in their respective streets.
